At this time, I do not accept insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill upon request, which you may be able to submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I encourage clients to check with their insurance company regarding their specific benefits.
I offer an integrative, trauma-informed approach tailored to your unique needs and goals. Therapeutic approaches may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process distressing or traumatic memories in a safe and structured way. EMDR does not require you to talk in detail about the trauma unless you choose to. The goal is to help the brain “reprocess” distressing experiences, so they no longer feel as activating in the present.
If you’re interested in EMDR, I’ll guide you through a gentle preparation process before beginning, to ensure safety and readiness.
I have experience working in school settings with children and working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
I work with children, teens, and adults (ages 5+). My focus areas include:
Yes, confidentiality is a core part of the therapeutic relationship. What you share in session stays between us, with a few legal exceptions:
These limits will be explained in detail during our first session, and I encourage you to ask questions anytime.
I offer in-person therapy in Fort Myers or telehealth sessions in the state of Florida.
You’re welcome to choose whichever format feels most comfortable, and we can also discuss hybrid options if needed.
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee.
You’re welcome to reach out through the contact form, or my email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This is a no-pressure space to ask questions, share what you’re looking for in therapy, and see if we’re a good fit for each other.
